Dr Naz Bashir is a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in investment, venture building, and operational leadership within the Health, Biotech, Diagnostics, and Therapeutic development sectors. Renowned for entrepreneurial drive, Dr Bashir has played pivotal roles in early-stage companies, focusing on in/out licensing, investment strategies, and commercial development.

Dr Bashir’s track record includes:

• Driving sales and growth through licensing and strategic partnerships across biotech, chemicals, biofuels, and food industries, with deal values reaching up to $100M.

• Leading executive teams and securing finance for and biopharmaceutical ventures personalized medicine, Deeptech, and nutraceutical  ventures.

• Delivering value through successful exits and an IPO.

 

Currently, Dr Bashir serves as an independent chair for a biopharma company developing CNS treatments and actively supports early and mid-stage biopharma companies with fundraising and strategic exits. In addition, Dr Bashir advises, consults, and directs a family office, while volunteering for health and local charities.

 

Dr Bashir holds a PhD in Chemistry and an MBA from the University of Exeter.
